Are you as tired as we are of hearing about how far out Anthem is? Today we are going to show you that Anthem is not too far out and in fact it is not as far out as many popular Scottsdale golf courses. Stick with us for this, the 8th post in our “Frequently Asked Questions about Anthem” blog (and video) series.
Today we answer the question: “’Anthem is Too Far Out!‘ Okay, you’re right, that’s not a question, it’s a statement, but it’s one we hear a lot at open houses when people are looking at different communities around the valley. To further frustrate us, it’s an incorrect statement, let us explain why:
We want to put it in perspective for you which we can only do using comparable landmarks. Finding something that everyone can relate to is a little difficult, so we picked the distance to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and compared it, in driving time, to popular golf courses in the Scottsdale area. We picked golf courses because golf is just so darn popular around here and, well, Anthem’s golf courses kick butt. We are very proud of them, even those of us who don’t golf. To this comparison, we have added the average price of a 3,000 square foot home in the neighborhood surrounding the golf course to further inspire you.
Here it is:
So, there you have it, by driving time, Anthem is basically only as far out as many comparable and popular golf course communities. The real difference is that Anthem has so much more to offer to families and golfers than those communities.
Remember our previous blog posts? Anthem’s abbreviated list of attributes includes:
- Not one, but TWO championship golf courses
- An awesome water park
- A very “happening” and active Community Center
- A super fun train
- Miles and miles of hiking, biking and walking trails
- State-of-the-art fitness facilities with trainers and classes galore
- Tennis and pickleball
- And so much more!
The same 3,000 square foot home will cost you almost $200,000 less in Anthem than in any of the other communities listed. When we say “the same home” we are not kidding, the homes in Anthem are as nice, if not nicer than their counterparts in many golf communities in Scottsdale!
Anthem is a Master Planned Community, which means it’s significantly self-contained and self-sustaining. And before you ask, NO, that doesn’t mean we’re all growing own fruits and vegetables up here, but we do have some great grocery stores, restaurants when you don’t feel like cooking, a post office, schools, an entire outlet mall, a library, hair salons, and so much more. The point is this, Anthem is basically a small city that has not been incorporated as a city. Everything you need is right here. Come see, we know you will be impressed! And does it go without saying? With all this surrounding you, unless you commute for work, there is little need to travel outside the community.
Come to Anthem, where families matter, fun is right in your backyard, the schools are rated well above State and National averages and the people are eager to get to know you.
If you live here, you already know all of this. If you are looking at Anthem, give us a call, we’d love to show you how awesome Anthem really is!
