We’re back with another edition of our “Frequently Asked Questions about Anthem” blog (and video series). As we mentioned in our first post, these are questions that we often get asked at open houses and from clients, and we love answering them. The question we’re going to tackle today is: “How big is Anthem?”
To answer this question, we really needed to divide it into three meaningful parts:
- The People
- The Homes
- The Acreage
So, let’s get started!
The 2010 census says that Anthem had 21,700 people but, let’s face it, it’s been a long time since 2010! More recent estimates suggest that we have actually grown to 27,000 people and with the Circle Mountain development becoming part of Anthem, we should have another 600 people (at least) by the end of 2020.
Are you wondering where all of these people live? Well, guess what! There are 10,106 homes in Anthem and they are divided into three separate communities. Anthem Parkside, which has 7,031 homes, the Village which has 210 condominium homes and Anthem Country Club which has 2,866 homes. As we mentioned in our previous post, they are building even more homes in the Circle Mountain area, which are set to be complete by 2020! If you’re looking for a new home in Anthem, now is the perfect time.
In terms of acreage, Anthem is 5,920 acres, which converts to 9.25 square miles. That’s right, Anthem is huge! There are many amazing things included in our 9.25 square miles, such as 50 miles of walking, biking and pedestrian trails, 60 acres of turf, 350 acres of desert landscaped areas, 1,400 acres of protected washes and open space AND over 20,000 trees (and NO we didn’t personally count them all, but they’re here and they’re beautiful).
Anthem is a gorgeous and vibrant community, but you know what? Those of you who live here, already know that, you didn’t need to hear it from us. For those of you who don’t live here yet, come visit us! We’re certain that you’re going to love it and we hope that you’ll decide to stay.
